Nürnberg – Automotive engineering is widely acclaimed for its innovation power and for pioneering cutting-edge technologies. At Chillventa 2016, Danfoss sets out to demonstrate the equally strong innovation drive of the refrigeration and HVAC industry in the effort to meet current challenges of climate change and scarcity of resources.Under the heading ‘Transformation starts here’ – Danfoss shows the importance of continuous transformation in the cooling industry. In particular, it will be highlighting aspects of digitalization and changes in refrigerants, as well as the development of products and professional skills within the industry. Products are getting easier and easier to install, yet ongoing training and staying up to date have never been as important as today.
This month, Danfoss is sponsoring the 12th annual Gustav Lorentzen Natural Working Fluids Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. Danfoss will have a strong presence at the four day conference, and will present several papers on the topics of natural refrigerants and refrigeration technology.
The use of CO2 trans-critical refrigeration in warm climates has been a hot topic for many years. The tables are turning, however, and CO2 refrigeration advances across Southern Europe as an efficient and viable solution. In April 2016, the largest hypermarket in Italy opened its doors in Milan. The 10,000 m2 brand new Iper market is a pioneer in CO2 trans-critical refrigeration system using Ejector technology to enhance efficiency in temperatures up to 38°C. The turnkey refrigeration system is supplied by Arneg.
